Foundations: Yoga for Pelvic Floor Health Workshop

Join for a 2-hour immersive workshop exploring the often-overlooked foundation of our physical well-being: the pelvic floor.

We’ll begin with an accessible discussion of pelvic floor anatomy, common (but not “normal”) issues that can arise from dysfunction, and how these concerns can affect the body as a whole. You’ll learn about key fascial lines connecting the pelvis to other parts of the body, the role of the breath in pelvic floor health, and how disconnection from our body can quietly develop over time. You’ll leave knowing you’re not alone — and that there are supportive, holistic tools to help you reconnect.

Following a Q&A, we’ll move into a gentle, alignment-focused yoga practice to help you move with awareness, stability, and ease. You’ll explore breath, posture, and mindful movement to create balance and strength in the pelvic floor. This session is open to all levels and is especially supportive for anyone seeking to prevent or address pelvic floor dysfunction in a compassionate, nonjudgmental space.

Shannon’s approach is rooted in deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom, weaving together her medical background, holistic wellness practices, and love for nature. Currently studying herbalism, she embraces the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit — empowering you to build a strong and harmonious foundation from the inside out.

Join Katie and me for an evening of tea, sound, and reflection as we welcome the New Moon together by the bay.

We’ll start by learning about the plants featured in our evening tea and what they support within us. You’ll then create your own tea blend to take home and enjoy over the next few days—carrying forward your personal intention for this new lunar cycle.

✨ Evening includes:

– Guided tea tasting & discussion of the plants’ qualities

– Make your own tea blend to take home

– Share a warm cup together in quiet reflection

– Recline on your mat or blanket and enjoy a 30–40 min live sound bath

– Short closing circle

🫖 Please bring:

– Your favorite mug (it makes the tea feel more personal)

– Yoga mat, blanket, or cushion to sit and lie on

– Layers to stay warm as the sun sets

Space is limited to keep the group small and comfortable.

Mid-Week Reset: Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing is the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku. This is a meditation practice in nature using your five major senses to connect, ground and calm your mind, body and soul.

Join me for a mid-week reset to clear your mind and recharge, so you can finish the week with ease and start your weekend feeling refreshed.

We'll start with some gentle somatic (body) movement to ease into the session, followed by a short meditation to awaken your senses to the beauty around us.

From there, we'll take a mindful, unhurried walk, allowing nature to guide our steps.

Afterward, we'll sit quietly for about 20minutes for an open-eyed meditation, observing the forest's quiet rhythms, without the distractions of technology.

Then we will finish with a nature journaling session to reflect on your experience, whether this is through drawing or writing.

This forest bath will leave you feeling grounded and more connected to the world around

you.

The trail is uneven and steep at times, so sturdy shoes are necessary 🥾

Mindful Nature Walk with Qigong and Sound Healing

🌿 Experience a Mindful Nature Walk with Qigong & Sound Healing Meditation 🎶

With Shannon and Angela

Join us for a rejuvenating journey through nature, blending mindfulness, movement, and sound healing in a serene outdoor setting.

✨ We’ll begin with a quiet, mindful walk, incorporating forest bathing techniques to deepen our connection with the natural world.

Our path will cover approximately 2-3 miles total (1-1.5mi one way) of uneven and, at times, steep terrain.

Upon reaching our destination, we’ll engage in gentle Qigong movements to harmonize body and breath before settling into a soothing sound healing meditation.

💫 Afterward, we’ll close our circle with time for reflection, discussion, and community connection as we make our way back to the trailhead.

What to Bring:

🎒 Backpack to carry everything

🧘‍♀️ A ground blanket or mat for sitting

🥾 Sturdy shoes for uneven terrain

💧 Water, sun protection, and layers for comfort

❣️ Important Notes:

🚻 Bathrooms are available at the trailhead.

📵 Cell service is VERY limited—please review directions in advance.

🚴‍♂️ Expect a longer-than-usual commute due to cyclists on the road.

🥞 Optional: Continue the conversation and deepen connections over brunch at Alice’s Restaurant under the redwoods (not included in the event fee).

🌿 Come as you are and leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and connected. We look forward to sharing this experience with you!
