Mid-Week Reset: Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing is the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku. This is a meditation practice in nature using your five major senses to connect, ground and calm your mind, body and soul.
Join me for a mid-week reset to clear your mind and recharge, so you can finish the week with ease and start your weekend feeling refreshed.
We'll start with some gentle somatic (body) movement to ease into the session, followed by a short meditation to awaken your senses to the beauty around us.
From there, we'll take a mindful, unhurried walk, allowing nature to guide our steps.
Afterward, we'll sit quietly for about 20minutes for an open-eyed meditation, observing the forest's quiet rhythms, without the distractions of technology.
Then we will finish with a nature journaling session to reflect on your experience, whether this is through drawing or writing.
This forest bath will leave you feeling grounded and more connected to the world around
you.
To Note:
The trail is uneven and steep at times, so sturdy shoes are necessary 🥾
We will be walking about 1-1.5miles total distance 🚶🏽
What should you bring?:
A backpack to hold: 🧣Layers of clothing 🧢 Sun protection 🚰 Water 🧘🏻♀️ A ground blanket to sit on 📔 A journal and pen/crayons/ pencils/water colors etc - whatever you have on hand to capture your moment 👩🏻🎨

🥾 Sturdy shoes for uneven terrain
💧 Water, sun protection, and layers for comfort
❣️ Important Notes:
🚻 Bathrooms are available at the trailhead.
📵 Cell service is VERY limited—please review directions in advance.
🚴♂️ Expect a longer-than-usual commute due to cyclists on the road.

Winter Solstice Sunset Yoga Hike/Mini Retreat
This hike is meant to take the form of a mini-retreat allowing us to leave the regular world behind and take refuge in nature for a day.
We will start with a 2-3 mile easy hike, stopping along the way for some standing asana poses and to take in the sight, sounds and smells of mother nature. Then we will have a seated Winter Solstice celebration with meditation, reflection on the year past and intention setting for the year ahead as we watch the sunset together on the shortest day of the year.
