Step out of the doing and into the being.
This Saturday morning offers a spacious start to your weekend—an invitation to ground yourself, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with the natural world. This is not a hike—there’s no rush and no sense of urgency. Just time to breathe, feel, and return to your inner rhythm.
Forest Bathing is the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku. This is a meditation practice in nature using your five major senses to connect, ground and calm your mind, body and soul.
Join me for a Saturday morning reset to clear your mind and recharge, so you can start your weekend with ease and feeling refreshed.
We'll start with some gentle somatic (body) movement to ease into the session, followed by a short meditation to awaken your senses to the beauty around us.
From there, we'll take a mindful, unhurried walk, allowing nature to guide our steps.
Afterward, we'll sit quietly for about 20minutes for an open-eyed meditation, observing the forest's quiet rhythms, without the distractions of technology.
Then we will finish with a nature journaling session to reflect on your experience, whether this is through drawing or writing.
This forest bath will leave you feeling grounded and more connected to the world around you.
To Note:
The trail is uneven and steep at times, so sturdy shoes are necessary 🥾
We will be walking about 1-1.5miles total distance 🚶🏽
