Psoas & Hip Flexors

The psoas is a deep core muscle that responds instantly to stress — it’s like the body’s personal “fight-or-flight” alarm. This is the muscle that connects the upper body to the lower body and helps us sit and flex the hips. When it’s tight or weak the pelvis shifts, potentially causing instability in the spine and posture. This class is all about releasing tension, bringing awareness to the core and pelvis and strengthening this deeply emotional muscle.

Myofascial Connection: The psoas is a key part of the deep front line, connecting the feet, inner thighs, pelvis, diaphragm, and even the tongue. Releasing it helps the pelvic floor and breathing diaphragm (two major domes) move in harmony.
