Hip Rotation
Rotation is one of the most overlooked movements in the body, yet it has a huge impact on balance, posture, and pelvic floor harmony. Here we explore both internal and external rotation to bring freedom back into the hips and support better pelvic alignment. As we move with intention and breath, the nervous system gets the signal to relax and trust the body again. Expect to move the body in ways it is not use to moving, as we are naturally built for more external rotation in the hips, but also to feel more balanced, more open, and more connected.
Come back to this class 2-3 times during the week for best results.
Props:
2 blocks (or big books)
2 blankets (or big towels)
1 bolster (or long pillow)
1 strap (preferably one that can fasten in a loop)
1 set of YTU balls (or tennis balls in a sock)
